About Jennifer

Jennifer’s dance practice began in 1996 at Orange Coast College, which included student choreographed dances, ritual performance and visual dance poetry. Her authenticity and ability to express was immediately noticed by her teachers and she was encouraged to stay true to that. In 1997 her support of fellow dancers was acknowledge and earned her a college scholarship. After performing for 3 years, Jennifer realized a deep longing to experience dance on a deeper level and began studying the 5Rhythms in 2002. After studying for 4 years, Jennifer decided to go further and trained as a certified 5Rhythms Teacher. She was trained by the late Gabrielle Roth in 2007. She is now teaching this extraordinary body of work, constantly catalyzing a deeper way of living more fully in her body. Jennifer is skilled at creating a safe space where dancers are invited to discover and express themselves with authenticity. Her deep understanding of the work inspires people to engage profoundly with the transformative nature of this practice, while her upbeat teaching style helps to create community on the dance floor.
